Having suffered a huge disappointment I was not in the best of places when I stood before the empty white canvas. Without thinking I pulled out colours not caring if they would blend or not.
Small amounts direct from the tube were placed randomly on the canvas - Purple; Burnt Umber; Dark Ultramarine; Burnt Orange and Alizarin Red. They got hammered around the place courtesy of my favorite spatula causing them to fight for the right to be on top and dominate the tone. The fininshing touch was applied with vigourous strokes from a comb.
