Purple, cadmium yellow, orange, ultramarine blue and pale olive were spread around the canvas using my gloved hand before a hugh, stiff bristled brush was delicately applied to further blend them. Cadmium yellow was then folded ( not mixed ) into moulding paste and added using a spatula.
A comb was then scratched across the canvas before a sponge was carefully dabbed and lifted off to raise the areas with the moiulding paste. I used one of my glove sized pouches made of bubble wrap to press down and remove selected areas to create a pattern. Finally, I embellished the picture with the gold applied with a huge spatiula onto just the peaks of the mouilding paste.
